Mary Holcomb, Psy.D

MaryHDr. Holcomb is a Licensed Psychologist with over 20 years of experience providing psychological services. Dr. Holcomb has worked in a wide range of clinical settings, including community mental health centers, inpatient psychiatry, medical psychology, pain management/rehabilitation, adult congregate living/nursing homes, and private practice. She also worked as a consultant to businesses providing pre-employment testing, and as an adjunct psychology professor at the University of Central Florida. She has worked as a Clinical Coordinator for Florida Hospital’s outpatient behavioral health programs, and as Director of Acute Care Services for South County Mental Health Center.

Dr. Holcomb has worked extensively with individuals who have experienced mood changes as well as adjustment issues due to chronic illness or injury. She has experience with all phases of adult developmental issues, and treats individuals ages 18 and older. She works with a variety of presenting problems including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, grief, management of acute or chronic illness/injury, stress management, balancing work/family responsibilities and career issues.  Dr. Holcomb performs psychological evaluations for bariatric surgical candidates and other diagnostic issues, work-related issues, and conducts pre-adoption assessments.
